¡Hola! I am Camille McCormick and I have been working in the behavioral health field since 1990, and I have been licensed as a counselor since 2007. My experience is working with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of treatment settings including in-patient and out-patient counseling. I have extensive and intensive hands-on training and clinical experience. Much of my work has been assisting adolescents and adults to break out of unhealthy patterns of thinking, which lead to emotional distress, poor decision-making, harmful behaviors, and strained relationships. My primary goal in providing counseling services is to instill hope and guide my clients to strengthen their autonomy, sense of self-worth and self-efficacy. My approach is holistic and integrative based on individual client needs. Additionally, I work to develop a relationship with my clients based on trust, empathy and respect. I believe in the power of human will and the magic of positive change. During the initial visit, clients have the opportunity to ask questions and identify treatment goals. More details about treatment expectations can also be explored during this session. I serve as an advocate for my clients, but more importantly, I teach my clients how to become champions for themselves. I look forward to working with you!
